Privacy Policy

ADAM is a hub for tracking and maintaining commissioned work — not a marketplace. We collect only the minimum needed to run the service securely, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.
Information we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. In practice, that means three things:
- Account — your email, a one-way encrypted password hash (never the password itself), and your nickname.
- Security & access logs — IP address, country, and device/browser info recorded at sign-in, used to detect unauthorized access and abuse.
- Content you create — posts, comments, bug reports, and any images you upload.
How we use your information
Strictly to operate the service: authenticating you, securing your account, detecting attacks and abuse, running the community, and letting you follow your project’s progress and report bugs. IP and device data are used only for security and anomaly detection — never for tracking or profiling.
Third-party services
We rely on a few trusted providers that process data on our behalf. Each handles only what it needs to:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, session storage, and aggregate traffic analytics.
- ImageKit — storage and delivery of images you upload.
- Resend — transactional email (e.g. verification). Currently inactive, kept for future use.
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Clearing it, or signing out, ends the session.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data only while your account is active. When you delete your account, personal data is anonymized or removed without undue delay. Security logs are retained briefly for abuse prevention, then purged. Where the law requires a longer retention period, we keep data only for that period.
Live chat consultations
If you start a live chat, the conversation is handled differently from the rest of your data. Please read this section before consenting:
- What we store: the message contents, your interface language, and timestamps. Message bodies and AI-generated summaries are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) in our database.
- How long: indefinitely. Unlike the rest of your account data, chat history is NOT deleted when you delete your account. This is an explicit exception to the retention rules above.
- Who else sees it: the conversation is mirrored to a private Discord channel so the operator can respond. There it is stored in plain text on Discord’s servers, and that thread is deleted 30 days after the conversation ends. Outside support hours an automated assistant runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, which processes the message text to acknowledge it.
- Operator access: the operator can read past conversations through an internal admin tool, which decrypts them on the server.
You are asked to confirm this once, before your first chat. Declining only disables live chat — your account, the community board, and every other part of the service remain fully available.
Project notifications (optional): if you ask us to, we send updates about projects you have access to — the entry title and its status — to a Discord channel you provide. Nothing is sent unless you hand us that address, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Your rights
You can view and update your profile from your account at any time, and request deletion of your account and associated personal data. You may also ask what data we hold about you.
